Goats Win a Wild One 11-10!

Hendersonville, Tenn - The Jackson Rockabilys win a thriller! They were on the road for the second straight night, this time taking on the Full Count Rhythm. The Rockabillys fell short early, trailing 3-0 going into the top of the third inning. But, the Goats certainly made their presence known in their half of the third, scoring four runs to take the lead. The Rockabillys started to pull away, taking a 9-4 lead during the top of the seventh inning. But the Full Count Rhythm fought their way back and took the lead back 10-9 going into the ninth innning. The Rockabillys answered this with an attack of their own, scoring two runs in the top of the ninth before Jaxson Lucas slammed the door shut for the Rockabillys. He was awarded the save, throwing only nine pitches. Brogan Jones, a second baseman from East Tennessee State University, led the way offensively for the Goats, going 3-5 with two runs and one run batted. He only struck out one time and was walked another.

The Rockabillys return home tonight night, June 1st to take on the Cape Catfish. This game will also be a celebration of the beloved "JR", the mascot of the Jackson Rockabillys. To celebrate, the first 900 fans to enter through the gates will recieve their very own cowbell!
