The Rockabillys couldn't put the pieces together against the Alton River Dragons, resulting in a 9-6 loss to end their four-game road trip.
The Goats fell into an early hole, as the Dragons jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the second inning and never looked back. The Goats managed to cut the lead down to two in the fourth inning, but the Dragons scored at least a run in three of the final four innings to take the victory.
This marks the Goats' second consecutive loss. They will look to right the ship when they return home on Tuesday to take on the DuBois County Bombers at 7:00 PM CDT.
Go Goats!
