Rockabillys Survive Late Rally, Hang On to Beat Bombers

The Rockabillys managed to fend off a late comeback attempt to beat the DuBois County Bombers 4-3.
The Goats were up 4-1 throughout the majority of the game, but the Bombers drove in two runs in the seventh inning to cut the Rockabillys' lead down to one. However, that would be the end of the scoring for the Bombers, as the Goats protected their lead and shut down the Bombers' offense in the final two innings to take home the victory.
With the win, the Goats improve to 9-4 on the season, while the Bombers drop to 3-11.
The Rockabillys will head out for a quick one-game road trip to take on the Full Count Rhythm tomorrow at 7:05 PM CDT. They will return to Jackson on Friday for Leaders Credit Union Night followed by the first fireworks show of the season.
