Rockabillys Bounce Back, Nab Tight Win over Hoots

The Rockabillys were able to bounce back from Saturday night's tough outing and defeat the O'Fallon Hoots 4-3.
Timely scoring and lights-out closing pitching were the two keys down the stretch for the Goats in this one, as the game was knotted at 3 before Ethan Rossow's clutch sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth brought in Trey Raucherbaumer and put the Rockabillys on top 4-3.
From there, closer Jaxson Lucas came in and shut down any hopes the Hoots had to try and tie the game, as he nabbed three strikeouts and totaled his sixth save of the season.
The Goats move to 11-6 on the season and into second in the South Division with the win. The Rockabillys have a two day break on the Prospect League schedule but fans can enjoy the Game of Their Own, Tuesday night at 7:00pm at Rockabillys Stadium. The team return to leaague play at home on Wednesday against the Alton River Dragons.
