Alton River Dragons
The Rockabillys were able to defeat the Alton River Dragons 11-4 in their first game fresh off a two-day break.
The game started off with Jackson Blemler knocking home an RBI single and an RBI double, and Stan King mashing a monster two-run home run to put the Goats up 4-0 by the end of the fourth inning. However, the Dragons erased that deficit and tied the game at 4 heading into the seventh inning.
But the Rockabillys exploded in that seventh inning, and the scoring was kickstarted by Ethan Rossow's RBI walk and Blemler's second RBI single of the game. The Goats broke the game open with seven runs in the inning to go up 11-4 and eventually take home the win.
The Rockabillys improve to 12-6 on the season with the win, and they will have another crack at the Dragons at home tomorrow at 7:00 PM CDT.
