Rockabillys Lose Series Rubber Match to Full Count Rhythm

The Rockabillys were unable to win their three-game series against the Full Count Rhythm with a 7-3 loss to the Rhythm on the road tonight.

It was a frustrating game for the Goats in several aspects, as the offense was largely inconsistent throughout the night and could only produce in short spurts, and the defense struggled to keep up with the Rhythm's offense. The Rhythm raced out to an early 5-0 lead in the second inning before the Rockabillys were able to put their first run of the game on the board in the third and cut the lead to four.

However, the Goats couldn't get much else going from there, as they were able to cut the deficit to three runs in the seventh inning, but the Rhythm tacked on another run to make the score 7-3 and essentially ice the game.

The Rockabillys fall to 14-8 on the season with the loss. They take on the Thrillville Thrillbillies in the Battle of the Billys exhibition game tomorrow at home at 7:00 PM CDT.
