Rockabillys Take Control Late to Win Second Straight over Bees

The Rockabillys took the second game of their three-game set over the Bees tonight by a score of 8-4.

A run-filled sixth inning was the key for the Goats in this one, as the game was tied at 4 before a sacrifice fly from Jackson Bryan kickstarted the scoring that saw the Rockabillys bring in four runs and take an 8-4 lead that they would never relinquish.

The pitching also came up huge towards the end of the game for the Goats, as Ethan Orwig came in and retired three consecutive Bees batters on nine pitches in the eighth inning. It was an absurdly efficient showing for Orwig in his limited action and it managed to squelch any hopes of a comeback for the Bees.

The Rockabillys improve to 15-8 on the season with the win, and they will go for the sweep when they take on the Bees again tomorrow at home at 7:00 PM CDT.
