Rockabillys Drop Second Straight in Loss to Catfish

The Rockabillys took a loss tonight at the hands of the Cape Catfish on the road by a score of 8-3.
Fatigue almost certainly had to have played a role in the Goats' performance in this one, as they were fresh off the heels of a back-and-forth barnburner against the Prospect League-best Thrillville Thrillbillies on the road. As such, they fell behind as many as seven runs and simply couldn't keep up.
The Catfish took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second before their bats exploded in the bottom of the fifth, as they piled on six runs in that inning alone to take a 7-0 lead. The Rockabillys could only cut the deficit to five in the bottom of the ninth after Caden Contant's first home run of the season, but that was all she wrote.
The Goats fall to 17-10 following the loss. They will head out on the road once again tomorrow to take on the Full Count Rhythm at 7:05 PM CDT.
