Rockabillys Ride Hall, McCoy Homers to Win over Full Count Rhythm
The Rockabillys were able to win their first game of the second half of the 2024 season, coming out on top with a 8-5 victory on the road over the Full Count Rhythm.
The long ball was the story of the night for the Goats in this one, as Kaleb Hall launched home runs in the second and fifth innings, respectively, to give the Rockabillys a 3-1 lead. The Rhythm were able to tie the game at 3 in the bottom of the seventh, but once the inning flipped, Jackson McCoy sent a three-run moonshot past the wall to break the game open and give the Goats a 6-3 lead. Jackson Blemler added onto the lead with a 2-RBI single, and even though the Rhythm were able to score two runs in the bottom of the ninth, it was too little too late, and the Rockabillys walked away with the win.
The Goats improve to 1-0 to start off the second half of 2024. They will head home to play host to the Rhythm tomorrow at 7:00 PM CDT on Elvis Night at Rockabillys Stadium. It's a night to salute the King of Rock and Roll. Fans who dress like Elvis or show their Elvis spirit are admitted for just $1.00.
