Rockabillys Complete Comeback, Walk Off Full Count Rhythm in Extras

The Rockabillys were able to complete a furious comeback and earned a walk-off win over the Full Count Rhythm in extra innings.

The game initially looked like the Rhythm were going to cruise to a victory after they went up 8-4 in the top of the eighth inning, but once the inning turned the Goats had other ideas. Will Bowen ignited the rally with an RBI single that eventually led to the Rockabillys knotting the game at 8 and sending it to extra innings. And in the bottom of the tenth, Jackson McCoy was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to give the Goats a walk-off 9-8 win.

The Rockabillys improve to 2-0 in the second half of the 2024 season with the win. They will head out for their fourth road game in the past five contests as they face the Cape Catfish tomorrow at 6:35 PM CDT.  The Rockabillys return home on Thursday with a Fourth of July fireworks celebration presented by H&R Agripower following the game.
