The Rockabillys staved off a late comeback attempt to take home the victory tonight by a score of 5-3 and sweep the Cape Catfish.
The Goats were largely buoyed by the outstanding play of Trey Watson, who went seven innings deep in this one and only gave up two runs. Stan King was also clutch swinging the bat, as his RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning put the Rockabillys up 5-3 and squashed any hope of a Catfish rally attempt.
The Goats improve to 5-0 in the second half of the season and 22-10 overall. They head right back out on the road to take on the Thrillville Thrillbillies tomorrow at 7:00 PM CDT.
Go Goats!
