Rockabillys Drop Second Straight with Loss to Hoots

After yesterday's scheduled game against the River Dragons was postponed due to rain, the Rockabillys dropped their second game in a row to the O'Fallon Hoots tonight by a score of 7-3.

The Goats kept it close for about half the game before the Hoots' bats woke up in a big way in the bottom of the fifth inning, as they drove in four runs, including a two-run home run, to stretch the lead out to 6-0. The Rockabillys were able to make things a little more interesting with a two-out rally in the top of the eighth that saw them put up three runs, but the offense was shut down from there as O'Fallon walked away with the victory.

The Rockabillys drop to 6-2 during the second half of the season and 23-12 following the loss. They will return home to the Hub City to play host to the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes tomorrow at 7:00 PM CDT.

Go Goats!
