The Rockabillys were run-ruled last night by Springfield Lucky Horseshoes by a score of 15-5.
The Goats were actually able to keep it close for about three-fourths of the game, even tying the game in the bottom of the sixth inning. But once the seventh inning came around, that was when everything began to fall apart for the Rockabillys. The Goats' pitching couldn't catch a break as the Lucky Horseshoes put up four runs in the seventh and six runs in the eighth to reach the run-rule final score of 15-5.
The Rockabillys fall to 6-3 in the second half of the season and 23-13 overall with their third consecutive loss. They will look to right the ship as they take on the Lucky Horseshoes again tonight at 7:00 PM CDT. It is Throwback Thursday with $2.00 prices on hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, peanuts, 16 oz.
