Rockabillys Squander Early Lead, Fall in Extras to Lucky Horseshoes

The Rockabillys blew an early multi-run lead and lost in extra innings to the Lucky Horseshoes tonight at home.
In what was one of the toughest losses of the season thus far for the Goats, the way things began didn't indicate this kind of outcome on the way. The Rockabillys quickly jumped out in front and were up 7-1 by the end of the third inning. They kept their lead intact until the seventh inning, and that's when the Lucky Horseshoes kicked their offense into gear. Two RBI doubles and an array of errors from the Goats helped the Lucky Horseshoes tie the game at 8 and force extra innings. And in the top of the 11th, the Rockabillys committed another costly error that drove in what would prove to be the game-winning run. The Goats couldn't tie or take the lead in the bottom of the inning, and they dropped their fourth consecutive game as a result.
The Rockabillys fall to 6-4 during the second half of the season and 23-14 overall with the loss. They will look to stop the bleeding when they host the Full Count Rhythm tomorrow at 7:00 PM CDT. Madison County Farm Bureau will have 500 white Farm Bureau Caps for the first 500 adults in the gates with a full paid admission ticket and it's the final Friday Fireworks night!
