Rockabillys Lose to Full Count Rhythm, Drop Fifth Straight Game

The Rockabillys dropped their fifth consecutive game, this loss coming at the hands of the Full Count Rhythm.

This game and the manner in which the Goats lost was eerily similar to last night's game against the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes. In this one, the Rockabillys jumped out to an early lead, as they were up 5-1 by the end of the third inning. However, the Rhythm slowly chipped away at the lead and managed to tie the game at 5 in the seventh inning. During the home stretch, though, the Rhythm's bats exploded, as they put up six runs in the seventh inning, and Rhythm pitcher Harry Cain IV silenced the Rockabillys offense the rest of the way. The Goats dropped their fifth straight game, largely wasting Cason Sharp's great Prospect League debut.

The Rockabillys drop to 6-5 on the second half of the season and 23-15 overall. They will look to bounce back as they welcome the Thrillville Thrillbillies to Jackson tomorrow at 7:00 PM CDT. Tomorrow night is We Rock the Spectrum Crazy Socks Night! The first 500 fans in attendance with paid admissions will receive a customized pair of "Crazy Socks", and in addition, there will be a special parade for members of the We Rock The Spectrum Gym.

Go Goats!
