Rockabillys Stop Skid, Beat Thrillbillies at Home

The Rockabillys were able to put an end to their five-game losing streak by beating the Thrillville Thrillbilles tonight at home.

This game wasn't without its scares for the Goats, however, as they were up 13-2 on the Thrillbillies heading into the seventh inning and looked to earn a run-rule victory. However, the pitching fell apart and the Thrillbilles put up seven runs over the final three innings to cut the lead to four. But the Goats' defense showed up in the final frame and did what it needed to do to secure the victory and end the skid.

The Rockabillys improve to 7-5 on the second half of the season and 24-15 overall. They will look to continue their newfound momentum as they head out on the road to face the Cape Catfish tomorrow at 4:05 PM CDT.
