Rockabillys Complete Comeback, Fend Off Late Rally to Beat Catfish

The Rockabillys were able to secure a come-from-behind win over the Cape Catfish today by a score of 8-7.
In what can be considered a complete 180 from the previous couple of games, the Goats were down multiple runs for a good chunk of the game, as the Catfish opened up a 6-1 lead by the end of the fifth inning. However, the Rockabillys slowly but surely chipped away at the lead, and Jackson Blemler's clutch RBI triple was one of the main catalysts that allowed the Goats to jump out in front in the top of the ninth. From there, Jaxson Lucas managed to shut down the Catfish's attempted rally, and the Rockabillys picked up their second consecutive win.
The Goats improve to 8-5 on the second half of the season and 25-15 overall. They have a day off tomorrow before taking on the Alton River Dragons in a doubleheader in Jackson on Tuesday, with both games starting at 6:35 PM CDT and 7:00 PM CDT respectively.
Go Goats!
