The Rockabillys earned a critical win over the O'Fallon Hoots tonight by a score of 12-5.
There wasn't a whole lot that went wrong for the Goats in this one, as they were firing on all cylinders, particularly offensively. The Rockabillys jumped out to an early 8-0 lead before the Hoots were even able to put a single run on the board. Some of the Goats' best hitters did what they do best throughout the night in this one, as Jackson Blemler, Merik Carter, Jackson Bryan, and Jackson McCoy all drew in RBIs. Things did get a little more interesting in the top of the eighth inning when the Hoots managed to cut the lead to four, but the Rockabillys put up three more runs in the bottom half of the inning to silence any attempt at a comeback.
The Goats improve to 10-11 in the second half of the season and 27-21 overall.
